Not a fan. Wish they would just go to that Minnesota game.

I understood Minnesota’s argument and frankly I would have understood if gameday said you know what you’re right.

But in reality there’s almost 0 chance they’re going to pass on a 1 v 2 matchup in the regular season. Especially Bama and LSU.

Yep. I have little inclination to watch gameday no matter where it is, but honestly Fleck has me somewhat fired up for Minny if they hosted it

Anyone who thought they were actually going to fricking Minnesota over 1 v 2 with heavy playoff implications is retarded.

Me too - throw in some snow and I'd be jacked for it.

That game itself will have everyone and everybody ready to roll, but GameDay on site just isn't a big deal for all of us anymore. That sounds snooty snotty and all that, but it just isn't.

Watching them go to places who are having big games for the first time in years and never get Gameday is awesome and actually makes me consider watching.

Because gameday’s roots are showcasing the biggest environments for the biggest games in football. There’s nothing bigger than 1 v 2 in the sec regardless of which channel it’s on.

Which is even MORE reason to be there. If one of their properties was broadcasting the game, they'd already have a presence there. With CBS having the game, this gives Disney / ESPN a link to the "biggest game" of the year.

Money over everything.

The whole point of gameday was them traveling to the far corners of the country to bring you the gameday experience that those schools have to offer.

They’ve been to Bama LSU like every year for just about a decade, when else will Minnesota have this good of a team again to warrant a visit?

Does anyone really want them there?

So we can all see a behind the scene view of bama and lsu again for the 20th or so time in the last decade?

I don't think Alabama or LSU folks seem to care either way, and most of us seem to want to watch them in Minneapolis.

May be a first in Gameday history

I just think they would make the same money in Minny or possibly more

Are people who stay at home really saying they tune in to gameday depending where they are located? I would think most people dont care, they are watching the program. I think being in Minny has a chance to pull in people who think Gameday has gotten stale
