Word around Tuscaloosa is that he’s returning. I wish he would go ahead and enter the draft. Don’t want to stomach next season with the fact that he’s risking it all. I’m sure he will pull out a hefty insurance policy that will make sure he’s not broke if something like this does happen again, but I’ll still be holding my breath on every sack/tackle. Hope Bryce Young stays committed and comes in to learn from Tua for a year.

Every player is risking it all on every play.

Seems risky. As someone said earlier, I’d rather take my chances if I’m getting paid.

What a cuck. Enjoy your generational quarterback for one more season. Good god. He's a grown man and can make this decision if he wants.

Not when you have guaranteed money sitting there. It’s not like he’s a sophomore. He has the option of accepting millions right now even if he does slip to the bottom of 1st round. A little different from “every player.”

While y’all are getting back used to going 10-2 again with Myles Brennan. Enjoy the next few months. Maybe y’all will win it all. Sure is going to be sobering come this time next year. Contrary to the popular belief on tigerdroppings, O can’t sustain this. Especially once someone hires Joe Brady out in under him.

True. But after ankle and hip surgery back to back, his situation is very different.

Will he even be playing by then. I thought I read this was a 12 month prognosis to be back to playing. He’d be back around the first of next November if that’s the case.

If he comes back next year to play we needed to get him the biggest possible injury insurance possible at University expense. And then he needs to learn how to throw the ball away

Saban paying him to come back. Saban knows his time has passed and sucks with out tua. Same with Jimbo and crabs. Same with Urban and tebow

I’m afraid Tua has made Saban soft

FIFY

Think about it. Saban has had all these very disciplined qb's, and now he has Mr. Everything, a generational talent and model citizen. Saban can not handle the "goodness" from this young man, and in tun, has made Saban more empathetic. Saban can not handle his feelings and it has gotten the best of him.

Who the hell would spend a draft pick on him before seeing if he can even play and take hits?

Your last sentence contradicts the rest of your post.

If I were Tua I would take the first round money and go, especially after that scary injury against MSU. You can always finish your degree as a normal (albeit millionaire) student. He is a grown man though, and can make his own decisions.
