Can’t blame him for taking that Job. I always liked Billy Donovan, and he could dominate in college like Saban, but he’s a good enough coach at next level, and I’d personally like to see him succeed in the NBA, especially with a successful organization like the Bulls.

Would love to have him in Gainesville but he accomplished everything here. I would much rather see him win In The NBA. He may never have a better shot than he did with KD and Russ though.

We didn't realistically think he would come back. That would require Mike White being fired and Mike White is still our coach and unless we flat out suck this year, he will stick around.

I'd rather him stay in the NBA than go back and coach another college team.

What lol? Are you a UF fan or a BD fan? What a dumb thing to say

I’ve been a Clippers fan, sigh, since the mid 90s so the Clippers will always be my number one. But as a life long OKC resident who always follow the Thunder; Donovan never got enough credit. He had an ego in Westbrook for most of his stay. Donovan’s track record proved he could coach, and the last couple years it showed with how well the Thunder did, with and without Westbrook. I hope he continues to do well.
Totally random: When Donovan began in OKC, he was coaching at the same time as Stoops and Kruger in Norman. And as we all know; Donovan, Stoops, Kruger all had coached at Florida at one time. Kruger left UF in 1996; Donovan and Stoops started at UF in 1996.

I understand. While I'd like him selfishly to come back and take over again, he is tGOAT gator BB coach and accomplished a ton. Hope he gets good shot at making the Bulls a contender.

That makes sense, but good catch

Who? He’s a has been. We have Coach Mike White now. His recruiting is as strong now he just needs to put it all together with the players.
