Kirby gets them ready for games like this and LSU has nothing to play for. Win or lose they are in, but UGA has everything on the line and they will play like it. I'll be pulling for LSU (because I would pull for Iran before I pull for UGA) but something tells me UGA wins a close one.

Eta: and its basically a UGA home game

50/50 they win the coin toss.

ETA: have an upvote for the Iran comparison.

bullshite.

You don't think a goal at the beginning of the season was to win the SEC?

It’ll be a good game. I know UGA’s defense is good but I just can’t see them slowing down Burrow, CEH, and Chase. Especially Chase. The guy can’t be covered. Plus Jefferson who always seems to get open in the zone.

The only reason I think that UGA MIGHT have a chance, is because Kirby is good at game-planning in games like this. Look at last year when he slowed down our offense with Tua(even though he was injured) after we annihilated every team we'd faced. It took Jalen coming in for us to make a comeback.

Having said that, LSU by 17.

Well I’m a UGA fan and I think we are screwed.

I expect the first half to be close, but LSU pulls away

You say that like it’s an advantage for them. They lost to USC at home and should have lost to A&M at home

Georgia ain't beating Joey Burrow.

If they do have a plan to beat Joey Burrow theb he'll probably get hurt and the back up comes in to win because the last two games against Alabama Kirby had a lockdown plan for the starter and the backup came in and fricked it up

I'm with you

Too much hype aligning on one side is fine when your opponent is Baylor or something, but when it's a major program it becomes more worrisome.

It's a little similar to 2017, although to my knowledge LSU doesn't have the injuries we've had going into that game.

I think LSU is considerably better, but I could see them derping it up. Honestly, barring some major upswing for UGA though, I don't see them faring well in the CFP if they get in.

Yeah Kirby gets them ready for games like this and then the game starts and Kirby goes full fake punt mode. Jumping up and down on the sidelines losing his mind. Terrible Gameday coach.

Winning the SEC title is something to play for. And it sucks that this is basically a home game for Georgia every time we play them in Atlanta. But LSU just has to deal with that.

LSU hasnt won an SEC Title since 2011 , and the playoff committee in my opinion will not allow 2 SEC teams in the playoffs. Georgia is capable of beating us, if they do they have the SEC title and are in the playoffs, we have nothing but a western division title and a New Years day bowl game. We have everything to play for, if they beat us it wont be from a lack of motivation on our part. Im purple and gold to the bone but i dont see this being a run away win for us at all. I think its gonna be a dogfight til the horn blows
