Something doesn't add up about this Kelly hire

He had it made at Notre Dame, one of the two most tradition rich schools. And the oddest thing is he didn't even wait one week to see if his team got in the playoffs. There's more to this story. I wonder what the REAL reason is he left Notre Dame.

Yeah it looks like he was running from ND.

Because ND sucks and South Bend is a shithole.

That dude he killed was probably haunting him or something.

Recruiting restrictions at ND probably handcuff him. The Hospital, I mean, school recruits itself at LSU.

Going to tell all my LSU brothers to run to this thread. The smell of fear smells better then a bowl of gumbo.

Maybe he sees the light at the end of the tunnel and wants to cement his legacy with a national championship. Do you really think Notre Dame will win a national championship before LSU does again?

He has a better chance to win a title at LSU in the next 5 years than he did at Notre Dame this year.

Y’all were going to run here anyways.

Look up the recruiting restrictions at Notre Dame.

Serious question ,does Coach stay at OM. I, for one hopes so. SEC is going to be one big party next few years.

Or maybe because LSU is a better job with more money... also the chance ND gets in is EXTREMELY slim... Baylor or Iowa, Houston, and UGA would all need to win for ND to get in.

ND has restrictions and still won more than 6 games the past two years.

I think LSU probably could have waited a week to let it play out, but the Lincoln Riley news and national sports media labeling the LSU coaching search a failure pushed up the timeline.

The realistic expectation is UGA is in. Bama could be in. Cincinati probably in. Michigan probably in, OK St. could be in.....leaving ND without a conf. championship and 1 loss means they are sitting on the outside.
ND will probably have the same outcome the rest of the season whether CK is on the sideline or not. ND coordinators got this.
CK opportunity wouldn't be there in a week had he waited.
All the POTENTIAL he will ever need sits in BR.

Sensing less alignment with ND leadership to tinker with ND's admissions, etc. "barriers" to compete Power 5.
LSU more than aligned now.
In the end, it is a sad state for college football.
As a fan and competitor, I am a hypocrite. And I don't think I am alone on this board.
