I'm not sure if you're aware, but in that time frame, Saban has not only had more opportunity to sign blue chip players than any other coach, but he's also pretty good at it.

Just an FYI.

I'm not sure if you are aware, but it's a % based stat, not a total number stat. Of which, "more opportunity" doesn't really mean shite.

If there are 15 games in a season, it would seem like a real GOAT has to win 15 games, no? Has Alabama ever done that?

Hard to call a stat anything to do with "of all time" when it only makes teams of the past 6 years eligible.

so much Stupid here.

Before your deflection, The question, was…has the tide done that?

It’s okay to say no.

If you’re not smart enough to to do that, then….

This immediately puts you at odds with das fassbender, whom incorrectly claims best season of all time from his TideSaint alter account about the covid/furlough/asterisk year

Why do Bama fans throw out shite that everyone already knows, acting as if nobody knows? Yes, y’all are good at football. Yes, y’all have the greatest coach of all time. Yes, y’all produce tons of NFL talent. We get it.

You obviously don't understand what the word why means. There were some excellent opinions from a number of LSU fans, but your post wasn't one of them...sorry.

So that's 6 opportunities that the "greatest dynasty of all time" has had to achieve 15 wins before lil' old LSU managed to eek it out with the shrimp boat captain? I would think the "greatest coach of all time" would be able to accomplish one measly little perfect playoff season.

Maybe next year, champ.

More exposure to NFL scouts, more consistent good development regardless of coaching turnover.

At this point, NFL scouts know what they're getting from a Saban player. They're disciplined, well trained, and driven.
This is what Jim Haslett told me himself when he was coaching/scouting for the Redskins (yes, I said Redskins!)
Damn man! I responded positively to YOUR OWN post! WTF!

Ah yes, the usual LSU argument that beating 3 OOC cupcake teams means you had a better season.

I wouldn't trade Alabama's 2020 season for LSU's 2019 season.

If we use your stupid arse cherry picking, there will likely never be another team that beats 11 SEC schools in a single season. Has your team went 13-0 against P5 opponents in a single season?

1995 Nebraska is still the GOAT, but 2020 Alabama > 2019 LSU.

Please tell us more about how beating Northwestern St and Georgia Southern means you had a better season.

I don't even know what the frick you are talking about in the last paragraph. Seems like someone has twisted your nuts. At any rate, I don't care what other Alabama fans say and never have.

as long as you can tell us how beating teams like Kentucky and LSU sand 15+ players could put you in the top tier.

Then your entire fanbase disparaging all the teams they had opt outs. As well as ridiculing your championship opponent for not having the right to be there.

Splain that

I'm sure this was just a "let me fellate myself about bama" thread but it's pretty simple, IMO:

1) Saban is getting the elite of the elite 5 stars. Najee Harris for instance was a "5 star" but was also the consensus #1 RB and a top 5 overall player nationally, he was essentially a can't miss. Khalan Laborn was also a "5 star" RB in that class...who? I know. Guy went to FSU, didn't do shite, transferred, and has never been heard from again. Both were 5 stars but one was the top of the top of the 5 stars while the other just barely made it instead of being a high 4*. So basically, not all 5 stars are the same and saban is getting the ones that are practically guaranteed high NFL picks

2) A 5 star that picks alabama is going to get the best coaching in college and is going to get the most TV and media coverage and likely play in the most national titles compared to any other program. Not to mention, if they are starting they've beaten out other elite prospects to be there

So fellate on, but it's not that surprising if you really think about it
