Orgeron on A&M: I think the way last year’s game ended added something to the rivalry. It’s game I’ll be looking forward to and the players will be looking forward to. Obviously, we thought we should have won that game 3 or 4 times, but that’s over.
LSU QB Joe Burrow on the 7-OT loss to A&M last year: “When you lose a game like that, it’s not very fun. And on the flight home, it was too foggy to land in Baton Rouge so we had to fly to New Orleans and drive to Baton Rouge. That was not a fun night.”
“I’m really looking forward to that one this year. We lost a game that was basically two games in one, that’s not very fun."
LSU’s Grant Delpit was asked if he liked the old OT rules, and was quick to clarify how he felt about the A&M game...
“I liked playing that game, I want to see who the better team is at the end... or who makes the least mistakes... or what calls go whose way... but it’s cool.”
