What all did he do after Dooley that makes us any better off? 5th season in, 2million more a year in salary, and he's in the same spot Dooley was in his 3rd season. About to get fired.

I guess 2mil a year more is what 2-3 more wins a year is worth.

My Tennessee source tells me that Lyle was stealing bricks from Neyland Stadium, and claiming them as bricks of his own. #snakeoilbricksalesman

The upcoming loss to UK will be the nail in his coffin, or if he can get to 7 wins, an extension.

Ok, I'll drop a hint.

Has anyone spoken to Barbara Jones since her interview with ESPN?

There's a reason. This ties in with the drunk driving rumor that's been going around.

Good morning, V&S, where can I sign a petition in support of Butch?

Some of us were drunk and passed out when that interview took place. Please refresh our memory.

Seeing how Lyle reacts on the sideline, part of me wouldn't be surprised Butch can't control his temper when drunk. I won't believe it until there's a credible source though.

So, current students who hung out with him on Sunday, are lying? Ok then.

Is it these alleged current students that are lying, or is it one of his teammates who is lying? You tell me.

Are you saying that Ms. Jones "fell down" or "ran into a door"?

To be honest that interview is the first and only time I have heard from Barbara.

She "fell onto someone's helmet," if you'll pardon the expression.

If people are spreading false rumors that Butch hit his wife just so that the school will fire him, then it is time to step away from football fandom for a while. That is a serious allegation and if not true then whoever is spreading that shite is a serious serious piece of shite.

Maybe its true and if so Butch should be gone and in jail, but the timing of this plus the rabidness of the fanbase probably points to otherwise.

Again, if you are spreading rumors about domestic violence just to get your coach fired you are a truly awful person who deserves the worst.

I agree with this. I also don't think CBJ would do a damn thing to harm his wife. He just doesn't seem the type.

CBJ is not going to return as our coach. People need to step back and chill. The man has young children for God's sake and there are lines no one needs to cross.

Agreed.

Tennessee fans would be monumentally screwing themselves if these types of rumors are being spread just so Butch gets fired. They better hope they stay contained to just a few internet boards.

If Butch is fired, what coach would want to take a job where you'll be required to win, or else you'll be accused of domestic abuse and have your name drug through the mud in the worst way?

The timing of the these "GIGANTIC bombs" is highly suspect.
