He was out of position on a few big Auburn plays early yesterday where he ran himself out of the play and into a block, but the last 3 quarters he played like a man possessed.
Great player and based on his comments post-Troy a great leader.

He's gonna be a first round draft pick. I don't think he's had under 10 tackles in the last 5 games. 15+ vs AU. He's a monster.

He will be a first rounder. He ran a 4.49 at The Opening when he was still in high school. Oh, and he was 260 pounds.

I think he's the bednarik winner at this point. Just to put in how perspective how dominant he has been this year- last year Rueben Foster was the best LB in the country. As a senior he had 115 tackles and 5 sacks. Devin is on pace for 143 tackles and 5 sacks in his sophomore season.

I don't think so. He's a great linebacker but I don't see LSU being nationally relevant enough to be an All American. A few years ago Ramik Wilson and Armarlo Herrera led the conference in tackles yet neither one was even first team All SEC

Exactly. No one even knows who this guy is. And trying to compare him to R Foster is hysterical. Foster had to fight with several other All Americans and All SEC players to make tackles. Who ever this guy is, if he doesn't make the tackle, either a DB has to ride the ball carrier down or he scores.
