Just look at how it's setting up. It will be LSU, Ohio State, Clemson and Bama. 1 seed LSU vs 4 seed A1abana in the first round. Saban and his players will be looking for revenge, plus a healthy Tuna. TV ratings will be through the roof.

When LSU was up by 20 ay halftime, they basically had a 2nd game ahead of them to determine if Bama makes the playoffs. Keep your foot on the throat and keep them out of the playoffs or let them back and let them back in. They have no one to blame but themselves

Luckily for them, Minnesota helped a TON Saturday and much of the analysis and determination boils down to how all these teams finish the season. The committee will give Bama the benefit of the doubt and only drop them to 4 this week but this is a deep field and teams on the outside will have to make EMPHATIC STATEMENTS to either supplant Bama completely or increase their chances relating to championship weekend. Assuming LSU closes the deal with the SEC West and conference title and undefeated and some outside teams dominate their respective conference title games, there's an argument to be made Alabama should get left out, will just have to see.

True. I thought the same exact thing. A healthy Tuna would've beat LSU tbh and the playoff committee will think so too.

Plus ESPN wants the Yugeee ratings this game will get.

If Bama gets that 4th seed, they will win the natty. Do we really think the committee would leave out a 1 loss PAC 12 and Big 12 champ? With Bama’s resume? I just can’t see that happening.

No one is afraid of Bama. They’re soft, undisciplined, and easily out coached.

They should be petitioning the committee to release a statement now saying they won’t be selected to avoid any further embarrassment. They need damage control now. The program is being overtaken by multiple schools.

No one is considering the possibility if LSU did like Clemson and finished strong.

Everyone knew if it was close the loser was still in contention.

You were up by 20 at half. A golden opportunity to knock Bama out completely. You had your chance

If LSU keeps their foot on the gas by playing aggressive (going for that 4th and inches) in the third. I think they win by at least 20 and prevent bama from even sniffing the playoffs.

TBH I'm tired of people making excuses for Tua and Bama, the dude resolved basically immediately to return to the field ASAP for the game and every report indicated a progression in status that rendered it a basic certainty he'd play and he wasn't "too banged up" to fire it up 40+ times in the game with some bombass accurate throws. I'll give Tua credit here, dude's a warrior and did everything he could to win that game his receivers dropped some passes, one on a deep post for a TD I think. When it comes to playing football, the excuse dog don't hunt, you play "hurt" and do what you do, how all the preceding greats of the game did it.

You had you're chance to win, but you didn't. Now you have to pin your hopes on OU or Oregon losing another game. If they don't it's over.

Clemson, the Big X winner and SECCG winner are in. That leaves one spot. It's back door or nada for Bama. Better root for the Ducks and Sooners to lose.
