They wouldn't underachieve if they played in the ACC.

Yeah, maybe. I won’t dispute that going through an ACC schedule, playing a mediocre Pitt in the ACCCG, and a mediocre ND in the CFP semifinals is a cushy road to the title.
With that said, Clemson straight up kicked our arse in the CG.
