So who's the early leader in the hunt for the Off-season Championship?

I've seen USCe throwing their hat in there. There's also been a motion in the floor to recognize Miss. State. That said, I think UGA is the leader early in this off-season.

Early, it's looking like a UG vs MS battle for the championship.

Georgia just won an actual championship. That auto disqualifies them from an offseason title. They have reason to brag and be ultra optimistic.

I don't know that they're leading right now, but if I were a betting man, I'd throw my money on Florida as a dark horse offseason championship contender. I think as time passes and the Mullen train gets ready to depart the station they are going to come on more and more strongly. The only thing that really hurts them is there just aren't that many of them on the board.

Technically we ARE the off season champ and will be until someone else wins the SEC.

Never count out Tennessee (ever) or Auburn after a successful year.
Not sure who has the early lead, but this is how I see it finishing.
1. Texas A&M (Fisher)
2. Tennessee (Its Tennessee...and asparagus)
3. Auburn (best 4 loss team of all time)
4. LSU (they promoted from within again, but as the season nears, they will be riding and we will all be scared)
5. Arky (new coach excitement. Their current posters suck, but they will be sailing by the start of next season).

The only championship Georgia fans think we will win is the SEC East. Maybe.
So far, I really haven't seen anybody go wild with expectations.
(We had one fan start a thread saying we would win, but.....you know)

UGA is a legit title contender. Therefore, they are banned from off-season play.

Bama never wins because we expect to be the best team and won't litter the boards telling you we will be. It will be between Auburn and Georgia and either could end up right.

Followed by Arky, USCjr and UT. I'm a little disappointed though with Florida fans. They're not even trying and they have every reason to be optimistic.
