Tua clearly went down with his final injury after JW stepped on his plant leg (right) causing a high ankle sprain.

However, Tua was wearing a boot on his left foot at the Heisman ceremonies.

They only had a left foot boot so he wore it.

The left ankle, which is the one he injured early in the game, is the one with the high ankle sprain that required the surgical procedure.

So there are no lingering effects from the injury that knocked him out of the game?

JW stepped on his left ankle. Tua hurt his right ankle on the first drive.

Sometimes, people should keep their questions to themselves.

Tua is left handed. His plant leg is his left leg. Which is also the ankle that was stepped on.

Opposite. His left leg was injured in the first drive. Right ankle was stepped on

Correct.

causing a high ankle sprain.

Incorrect.

The high ankle sprain was on his left leg and happened early in the game. The first drive of the game.

He played through it and he wasn't as accurate because of it. Still managed 21 points before getting the right ankle stepped on. At that point he had 2 injured ankles and couldn't continue.

RollTideRandall is right. JW is our LT and he stepped on Tua's left ankle.

Take about 30 seconds to watch two replays and that will explain it all
