I’m hearing that he hit it on a helmet. Likely to miss the Spring.

Reports are that he’ll be out for a while. The target date for his return is the 2nd half of the national championship

This would be a great time for a reporter to ask Mike Leach to pontificate about this injury and QB depth.

Butch Jones broke Tua's thumb. Said he just wasn't accustomed to working with left handed QBs. He said, "Right handed thumbs bend that way".

I saw Hurts carrying around a piece of pipe earlier.

No way Hurts transfers after Spring Training now. One way or the other there will be a disgruntled QB in the Fall. I think it would have been best for the team to get this over with this Spring.

I actually agree. The Bama board will implode when Jalen gets the start because Tua misses all of spring. This will definitely put Jalen in the drivers seat. FTR I think Tua is the QB that opens the offense up not just because play calls are limited with Jalen but if Bama can spin it there's no more sitting on the line because Bama can't pass the ball. With Tua even the run game will be nasty. With Jalen your best runs are always plus 1.
