[quote]Well, our defense did hold a Sark-coached team to less than 20 points. That is not an easy thing to do.
Mostly against a backup QB. Golding cannot defend an above average QB. If you cant get pressure on the QB quit leaving DBs on an island, a good QB wins every time. And he cannot turn the ball over. Need Pruitt back.

If Nick’s gonna keep them around why not just make em switch hats. BoB Defense, Pete you got Offense.
That is a Belichick strategy, so hopefully Saban doesn't adopt it.

Just stfu.
The complaining is what keeps our program going.
Well, Nick Saban does, but holding the staff accountable all the time is essential to any program having success.

Yeah yall have got it rough over there. You might not even win the conference this year before you're handed a spot in the playoff.
Imagine this fan base post-Saban when Alabama has multiple 5 loss seasons like every other SEC team has had over the last 10 years.

Probably the worst play call I've ever seen in my life
I'd love to know if that was suppposed to be a dive to the left, and Williams just slipped when he tried to cut it back (because the left side of the line got blown up).
For a split second there it looked like a counter, which combined with the shotgun formation goes down as a boneheaded call for sure.
Still would've made the first down if he hadn't slipped, but it was yet another weird occurrence on a day full of them.

BO is a terrible college OC
As a Texans fan I can guarantee you, compared to his history as NFL head coach, he is a gotdamm chainsaw dick, fire breathing mensa blackbelt as a college OC.

You guys have run the frick out of these for years now though. Complain about the execution of it all you want, but it has been a pretty significant staple of your offense for a while.

Bama fans have no idea what life will be like after Saban
Some of us remember the years between Bryant and Saban with the exception of the Gene Stallings era. I don't think Bama falls off the map after Saban but yeah some of the younger fans think what we have now is the norm and are in for a rude awakening post Saban.

They were good enough to win a Championship
I trust Saban.

Everyone else loses that game on Saturday against Texas. Bama fans have no idea what life will be like after Saban.
This right here.
I was pissed off throughout the game at how bad Bama looked. And yes, Texas had a lot to do with it. But after seeing aTm and ND (and a bad Nebraska team) go down to G5 teams, that 1-point win got put into perspective with a quickness and didn’t seem so bad.

Pete Golding is fine. I think he gets more blame than he should because of how college football is played nowadays, and how hard it is for defenses to dominate
BoB fricking sucks

O' Brien has no creativity and Golding is average at best. I actually think calling Golding average is being too charitable. There's dozens of guys out there that can do better than these two.
Seems strange that Saban is sticking with them. Any ideas why? Nobody better available?

95% of the board are just trying to keep from puking while reading Tide fans bitching about ANYTHING pertaining to football. It's like a petulant, spoiled little 5 year old brat throwing a fit because his birthday pony isn't the color he wanted!
GET frickING REAL!!!

IIRC, the tunnel/bubble screen (as a regular occurance) was a Kiffin install.

That's ok, IF you spread them out. But, bad idea to try to run power from it.

We were already the premier SEC program long before Saban arrived. Just take a look at the all time series record if you're not sure about that.

There hasn't been anyone like Lane or Sark available. Frost may be the first interesting one to be fired to this point.

Makes sense. No use firing someone only to hire someone on the same level....when you are not happy with what you have. One reason Saban has been so successful is he either upgrades or at least hires on the same level.
