No, you probably read it in about 4 or 5 other threads on here where it was mentioned and being an attention loving whore decided to make a whole other thread about it.
Yes, it was $250,000.00 because it was the third offense.
1st 2013 Iron Bowl after the Kick 6
2nd Rushing the B'ball court after upsetting UK
3rd This past Saturday

I've always thought those fines were shite. The schools always end up paying for damages anyway so why fine them?

It's Sunday, I just heard it. Although, it would be special if this was the 4th fine today! ;)

You'd think they would be used to winning a big game by now

The rules are the rules. Auburn will happily pay the fine all things considered. I understand student and fan desire to rush down and be a part of history, but the punchout thing is one of the reasons why that rule is in place.
Still, sometimes it's worth it. And Saturday was one of those times.

Also think about it Cam could cover the fine and still be 30k in the green

The interesting thing is, it is almost certainly going to cost Tony Brown more $ than the $250k Auburn will pay (civil suit/defense/draft).

How much did the fine Auburn for making Tony Brown punch a 16y old?

Did the fans really 'rush' the field? I thought the bushes slowed them down.

Every other conference allows it, it is fun. Comes to about $3.00 a person so well worth the price.

Compounding interest.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is how you know the fine us still too small. The purpose of a fine is to be a deterrent. The Auburn administration continues to give the finger to the SEC office. The fine needs to continue to double until Auburn finally gets serious about enforcing SEC policy. Jacobs himself said he hoped there would many more fines. When the fine gets to $5,000,000, then maybe the Auburn admin will have a change of heart.
There was one Auburn millenial poster who asked what Auburn could do to stop it. I guess he understands how impotent his current administration is. He also doesn't know his own school's well known history when it comes to keeping people off its field...am I right Georgia fans?

Another Auburn fan who doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Is anyone surprised?
Serious question...do you just talk out of your arse all the time?
