Ole Miss is voluntarily sitting out of the 2017 postseason even if the Rebels pick up their sixth win this Thursday night in the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State. Voluntarily sitting out of the postseason is a decision made in hopes of receiving a lighter punishment from the NCAA should the organization weigh down heavy sanctions on the program.

Will the NCAA still give them a lighter punishment when they couldn't even become bowl eligible?

So Deontay is more worried about which pro farm college team he will be getting exposure at as compared to getting an education with a piece of sheepskin as evidence? Who'd a thunk it?

Obv they are looking at fines of some sort. My question is, if they played a bowl game could they benefit from the money still? I need educated on how this would work. Might not be bad to collect the share and use it to pay for fines and next coach.

The bigger question - should OM reap any of the monetary rewards from other SEC bowl games?

Ole Miss would be more than happy to let him transfer anyway, so hopefully his lawyer is pro-bono

3rd string safety on a horrific defense.

I'm learning that the more elaborate the commitment video, the more likely that player is to be a headcase.
