Given the context, that’s not very relevant.
Do you think the SEC, the wealthiest, strongest conference in all of college sports, is going to be taken advantage of by Texas - a middle of the pack school from the Big 12 who hasn’t been nationally relevant in over a decade?
You people sound like a bunch of pussies around here. And that’s coming from someone who is squarely in your corner, FWIW.

Why are you quoting someone else’s comments at me?

To show you the context to which you were responding. The IPA meme wasn’t relevant to the context.

I don't think Texas is going to have the power in the SEC that they did in the Big 12, but this is the wrong way to look at it. All that really matters in college football these days is money, and Texas brings a lot of money to the table. They can be a .500 team for the next 10 years and will still have relevance because of the money they bring.

And they’re coming to a conference where their money really won’t mean shite in the grand scheme of things. The SEC is about to be given $20,000,000 per weekend just for TV rights. The one thing that has kept them relevant is about to be essentially neutralized, IMO.

To my Aggie SEC "brothers:"
1. Texas will not rule the SEC. You guys plus Mizzou and Arkie will be there to warn us when UT is pulling a fast one.
2. LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee are not gonna be pushed around by the likes of Texas. That is most likely true of the rest of the SEC teams as well.

Does Billy Liucci always cry this much on Twitter or is it just because this is involving Texas?

I always knew you and your fellow ags were pussies, but I had no idea y’all were on this level.

Lol. You guys are so naive. Call us scared or whatever but we have over 100 years of experience with these assholes and we know how they operate. They are very subtle and very smart when it comes to exerting political power and they make sure that every deal ends up tilting their way.
Oh, and you can go to hell if you think A&M is goign to "warn you" about anything. You guys are screwing us and showing us we can't trust you. We will almost certainly cut our own deal with Texas because we at least have political power over them as the other Tier 1 school in Texas and we know how they operate. Texas already has OU as a pocket vote btw and will likely get Arkansas.
Today in the SEC it doesn't matter that much how many eyeballs you bring, how much money you have, what your academics are, or what your connections are with ESPN and the media. That is over the day you let Texas in. That will be ALL that matters.
Oh it won't happen overnight. Just small changes at first. Little things you barely notice. Then Texas will gain power and once they do they will show you just how little true power you have.
A&M has a $13 Billion endowment, 500k alumni, AAU Membership, a 100k stadium we can fill, and a significant portion of the fans in a state of 30 milllion people. We have a great coach and great facilities and know how to sell our brand. Texas also knows we can make life very difficult for them at home should we choose to, especially now that they are making enemies of virtually every other school of substance in the state. They actually need things from us, they don't need anything from you. Oh, and A&M can always pull the chute if we have to and go anywhere we want. How about you?
You probably think because you have more votes than Texas that matters. Texas doesn't care about that, they will just put pressure on ESPN to do their bidding. Once Texas is in the SEC ESPN isn't going to call the SEC office anymore for things, they will call Austin. At that point you will realize that you have no real leverage anymore and Texas will make you feel pain every time you oppose them. If this goes down Sarkey will have sold his soul to Texas as well and he will quickly become a rubber stamp for them.
It's not too late to stop this. At least A&M is dealing with the reality of what is coming, you guys are living in fantasyland where Texas will suddenly become your little bitch. Instead you should be stocking up on lube because once Texas gets power you will have an easier time getting rid of Pancreatic Cancer than them.

ok, so 1/3 votes are needed to block entry. What is needed to kick someone out?
For example, if Texas came in and after about 5 years you see a power play that all other teams recognize. Can the others get a 2/3 vote to send them with a big red brand on their person for the rest of the world to see? Has the SEC ever kicked a team out?
