So PFF graded every 5 star player and Cam Akers graded almost 5 points higher than Swift?

I get blocking and other aspects of the game but how does a guy who averages 5.5 yards a carry grade out 5 points higher than a guy who averages over 8?

Also, some players from other teams in there. Just making an observation.

Because Swift is more of an outside, big-gain rusher. Akers is averaging 5.5 running 70% of the time between the tackles

FSU has poor OL play, so more of the yardage total is on the RB

I get what PFF is trying to do but don’t think it works as well in college. There’s too much variance in scheme and competition level vs. the professional game.

PFF is pretty horrible for college imo.*
