So Nick Saban devotes three weeks out of every season devoted to the LSU game.
1) Scheduled bye week before the LSU game.
2) Week of the LSU game.
3) week after the LSU game (to recover emotionally)

LSU fans are used to getting wiped out by Bama. Used to be months before any smack talk was heard post-Bama loss. Now recovery time is less than a week.

The bye week is a stupid argument, and that’s something for your conspiracy theories fan base.

Just checked both LSU and Alabama have scheduled a bye week before playing each other every year since 2007

Gonna have to beef up security around TTown next year when LLLLLLLLLSU comes to town.

Yes we have the same bye week.
But Nick Saban admitted that he started scheduling the bama bye week before the LSU game because he knew it was the toughest game of every season for him.
