And they got beat by Illinois, who hasn't won a B1G conference game yet.

I like everyone rips the Mizzou addition, but says nothing about A & M. Not saying MizOu has been great, but what has A & M done? And this is during one of the worst stretches of Mizzou athletics in a long time. Plus, who said we were a basketball school? Seems like Illinois fans would be more concerned with winning a conference game.

Nah, we just like bragging that we're better than you (Mizzou)

Random post.

But ok, I’ll bite.

We’re considered a BB school because of the Norm Stewart years and the teams he had, that coupled with how the FB program was run back then equals a rabid BB fan base.

Yeah, we couldn’t get over the hump, whatever, it built a nice reputation.

But you already knew this, you just felt like a Mizzou troll thread was necessary.

So, frick you, your mom is a whore, etc, etc, etc.

We’re a basketball school because of our all-time winning percentage. It sucks being known as the greatest tradition in P5 basketball without a final four appearance, but it is what it is. We’ve had some shite luck in the tourney over the years but hopefully we will break the curse soon.

"basketball school"

In terms of former conference mates, Mizzou basketball

Kansas > Oklahoma State > Oklahoma > Kansas State > Texas > Baylor > Colorado > West Virginia > Iowa State

That is 9 Big 12 schools with more Final Fours than Mizzou. Granted the folks in Morgantown were added after Mizzou left but that is still most of the former conference with more Final Fours than Mizzou.

Big MO is a big pro state so not like most in the state care about college sports.

Welp that settles it.

Grits has spoken.

Mr. Ball Washer himself has set the record straight. Mizzou isn’t a basketball school and in fact hates basketball because of their lack of FF appearances.

We should just fold it up and stick to wrestling and SJW protests because we run that shite.

I don't think you all have come to realize the level of curse Mizzou fans are under. We can make it to the cusp of massive success, but something always happens.

15 conference regular season champs, 8 conference tournament champs, 26 NCAAs, 7 Sweet Sixtens, 5 Elite Eights. Long track record of success.

You all happened to see the worst coach in our programs history for 3 years. Not hyperbole, the objective worst by win-loss.

Increased the academics
Brought a massive endowment
Growth state
Former SIAA member
100K seat football stadium
Replaced the Stars and Bars with the Rainbow flag
Made historic non conference games conference games
M & W NCAA hardware in Track & Field
W NCAA (after announced but before admission)
Solid final standings in Directors Cup since joining

That is just off the top of my head

Anyone who judges our basketball program based on the 3 years under Kim the Kermit Anderson is fricking retarded.

How about on the field, but whatever. I don’t really care what any of you guys think. We are here. Deal with it!
