So "Kick Six" cost Auburn $60-70 mil and Texas AM probably $125 mil?

Ed Orgeron beat Nickie Poo also. Need to win the Natty if you do. Your career goes on a quick downturn if you beat him.

Gene Chiz
Hugh Freeze
Sumlin
Gus Bus
Ed Orgeron

It extended Gus with a huge new deal.

Bama would have castrated FSU and Jimbo's shine wouldn't have been so bright

Also, you realize Malzahn's extension came after the the 2017 regular season when he knocked off UGA and Bama in succession? Not 2013.

Caused AU to keep Gus around for years.

Caused FSU and Jimbo to win a title, convincing A&M that he could do it again with their limitle$$ resources, no problem.

Why is this confusing people?

For the reason I explained above. The Gus extension was a kneejerk reaction to the wins in 2017, not what he did 4 years before that. he beat Saban in 2015 as well.

The OP is based on a faulty premises

The whole country cared about it, retard.

Because we actually WON the SEC West, WON the SEC Championship and played for the NC. You didn't do shite after your Bama wins.
