That's all we heard for weeks.
Show us where someone said he was a lock. I saw people speculating he could be in the running. Again, you need to get your feels off your sleeves.

I don't think he is either, but "clearly" might be too strong a word. I have no looked, but I would bet if we went back to last year Young had some less than stellar games, too.
FWIW, I thought Will Anderson deserved it last year. It's horrid how they seem to only look at QBs and then maybe a RB from time to time.

And numerous "Dawgs" have been pushing this.
Not as a lock. I was shocked for some of them to even bring Bennett up and Heisman this early in the season, but what I saw was asking if he should be considered.

Sure, whatever you say but let’s ask the professionals who evaluate qbs for a living.
Just pointing out that the professionals who evaluate QBs for a living think Arch Manning is the #1 recruit in the US, Tom Brady was a 6th round draft pick and Ryan Leaf was #2 overall pick. They aren't always right, you know. In fact, we could get a lot of professional picks that were wrong....probably more that were wrong than were right. QB is one of the hardest positions to predict to the NFL.
(Not sure why, but they seem to struggle with evals at QB)

Well he didnt gift a win to Ole Miss in the way Levis needed to for Ole Miss to win.

The bye weeks really helped push him to number 2.

Young is not that great either. Worst heisman winner in a long time.
Stetson completely outplayed Bryce in Indy.
Bryce choked when his team needed him most.
Sad!

A lot of season to play yet we will see

Stetson is a good college QB..does exactly what Ga needs and is asked to do..not sure why some of us feel the need to shite on him. He's a good player who's worked hard to get where he is

Absolutely true. Again, I don't think Bennett is Heisman material. He has played well this year, though. Much better than I anticipated, so I am happy.

The OP is "The Biggest Brother" and is an Alabama fan. You are saying he started a thread like that? Or are you saying Diddly started a thread like that? I went through all the threads that Diddly started and did not see it. I do have to admit, that Diddly starts a ton of threads, though.

Do you know what an alter is?

Yes, but it doesn't make sense that an Alabama alter would start a thread about Stetson being a Heisman lock. Wouldn't he do that under a Georgia alter?
Let me check "Biggest Brother" started threads...but he has been pretty critical of Georgia, I think. (Maybe I just don't know how to play the game? )

I checked threads started by Biggest brother, and he never started a thread saying Bennett was a lock for the Heisman, either. I mean, I don't know that I have seen anybody say that. I have seen people saying he should be considered or was a leader, though. (Biggest Brother said if he were a Heisman voter that Bennett would be his leader at that point, though) At the point he made that thread it was not totally off the wall, though.

Maybe but Bryce will probably be a first round pick. His ability to move in the pocket and change his throwing technique with accuracy is very impressive.
I wouldn’t trade him for any other QB in college football.
Oh and when I say professionals, I’m not referring to recruiting sites.

He won't be playing for a few weeks. Dislocated his shoulder.

Maybe but Bryce will probably be a first round pick.

Didn't someone say they predict he will throw 4,000 yards this season?
Looks like his on pace averaging 303 ypg.

If the receivers stop dropping balls, and play like they did against OR and SC, and he continues using his legs for big chunks of yards when necessary, then there's no reason Stetson shouldn't be in consideration. But if the OL keeps getting gashed and the receivers keep dropping perfectly timed perfectly thrown balls, then Stet will fall out of consideration.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. SB is a formidable game managing qb, but he is clearly not Heisman material. And numerous "Dawgs" have been pushing this.
I'm curious how you'd measure this? I mean, comparing him to the last QB to win the heisman... Bennett has had 3 300+ yard passing games (with the other 2 being 284 and 272). Young has had 1 300 yard passing game (not even in their close game against Texas... where he had 213 yards). Bennett has 1 pick in 168 attempts. Young has 3 in 134. Bennett has a higher completion percentage
To be honest, statistically speaking, Young's stat line looks more like a game manager line than Bennett's does.
Plenty of season to go of course.
