Oh yeah. Especially if they get smoked we'll be in.

I don't see them punishing the teams that much for losing a conference championship game when bama isn't even playing and has two losses

If bama had 1 loss then I'd think you are right

I’m going to be honest with you.

If UGA plays their C game which it has done a few times this year, it’ll be close.

If the dawgs bring their B+ game which is what they did against Oregon and Knoxville, you’ll lose by double digits.

If UGA ever gets it right and plays their A game, you’ll lose by 40.

I’m not trolling you or being funny.

I’m enlightening you!

This. All of this. The Dawgs are the best team in the country and it's not close.

Although I will say that I think Georgia brought their A- game against Oregon.

USC might be the best qb Georgia faces, but I think GA D can contain him better than most.

Dude, we're talking fricking TCU. If they lose they're out. No one wants to see them in the playoff and the committee will see to it if they lose. I'm telling you, it's harsh, but it's true.

What I find interesting about the whole situation, people are actually excited about Bama being in no matter what in this situation with the expanded playoffs. Should be happy that you get a year like this. Not so much in the future.

Welcome back, Warrior, it's playoff time! Sorry you and the rest of your hee-haw trailer park creatures in Bama are going to a New Years 6 bowl this year, would LOVE to tangle with you chumpskies in the Final 4, trust me!

At any rate, MICHIGAN is coming after your sec "hero's", aka the Pug Doggies! They know it, too. Revenge is a damn good motivator. Michigan has a defense that just locks teams down this year, and a very different offense, too...we can run, AND we can pass!

This Michigan team is gonna be a mother****er to knock out of the Tournament this year...we CAN take the Natty, your opinions not with standing!

Then the entire system is rigged.

TCU winning would be a pretty good Cinderella Story.

Caleb is incredible, he was my choice to win the Heisman from the time he went to SC. One I figured he’d put up ridiculous numbers on the west coast. Two, last year was the first time any conference had ever had 3 straight Heisman winners. I didn’t believe the voters would go 4 straight.

The problem with SC is their LOS on both sides. UGA and Michigan are too physical for them.

I never thought Alabama would leap Ohio St. Alabama's only path is a USC and TCU loss with OSU and Bama joining.

Disagree. I think TCU has to get destroyed to be out; they're a feel good story (not a traditional power) and they have several ranked wins to their name. They have both the resume to stay in and the fact that it would be their first trip means a lot.

USC is the only one that's definitely out with a loss, in which case Ohio State is in. Logically that would be the case regardless if Alabama or Ohio State were currently #5 - honestly the only thing that changes for Alabama is if LSU wins, they get the Sugar and we drop to the Orange I believe. Sugar may choose Tennessee anyway, considering how long it's been since they played there, but we'll see. The NY6 will definitely have at least 2 (possibly 3) SEC teams to choose from.

I don't see a true avenue for Alabama to get in the playoffs barring some kind of absurd point spreads in the championship games, and even THEN I seriously doubt it will happen (though the IDEA that an undefeated team losing the championship game meaning they wouldn't go might encourage them to not phone it in, I would hope that's not what is required to get a team pumped up for it).

Probably not, though Utah already beat them once. It's not completely outside the realm of possibility.

I have stated from the beginning that two losses eliminates you.

This is categorically false. If Auburn doesn’t stink it up in 2017 in UGA2.0 they get in with 2 losses. Furthermore had Tennessee not completely shite the bed vs South Carolina they get in this year with 2 losses. Tennessee literally just had to win out in the regular season and they were in.
