Still the Sugar Bowl is a damn nice consolation prize if we are being honest.

Being ranked ahead of UT all but guarantees us the Sugar Bowl. Unless LSU wins of course.

And here we go again

I said you should be a USC fan so you don't have to melt about Ohio State. Again.

When did this happen because you can look at my post history which includes the UA board and I have never been upset about UA not making the playoffs or were hoping for them outside of having fun watching all the other fan bases melt. I even said we do not deserve to be there but understanding your education may present difficulty in regards to reading comprehension.

Well, you sure do run your mouth reckless for someone that doesn't know what they're talking about.

I see I hit a sensitive spot. An OSU fan on a SEC board getting triggered because an SEC fan is giving him a hard time. Thanks for letting me know.

I hope I did that right.

We've only been saying it for a few weeks now.

Glad everyone else is catching up.

You know the Bama board isn’t private, right?

Yes and no. Great to be in a NY6 Bowl but Bear was coaching the last time Alabama won the Sugar when not playing for a title. Also concerned as it may be the first year we see UA players headed to the draft opt out.

That is going to happen more and more in the current configuration.

I am not sure how to feel about 12 team playoffs but at least I feel players won't opt out in that.

If TCU and USC both lose we're in. Especially if TCU were to get blown out.

That is probably the one positive benefit I can see.

I will agree to this because if you go back coming into the season and throughout I continued to stand by my opinion that OSU was the best team in the country. I guess it is clear now that I am wrong.

Probably out. There’s a chance, but I figured 5th was probably our ceiling. We won’t be better than 6th if Southern Cal wins their conference.

LSU losing to 8&4feit and falling all the way to 14th killed any chance of being 5th this week. 2 last play losses to teams in the top 7 looks a lot better than 7th and 14th.

Has anyone shown how a 12 team playoff would look this year?

I am not sure it would change the final two, but I bet it would yield some exciting games.
