So if Saban or Miles had been in this same exact situation as Petrino

do you think both or either would be considered for termination? I for one think they would find a way to keep them.

After Penn State the media would go insane on a marquee name like Saban or Miles and they would be forced to remove the coach

when the media sets their minds on something, they definitely have a way of seeing it through

while i believe the media respects saban's ability, i dont think they like him much as a person (partly his own fault, he's grumpy and does not handle them very well). If this were saban, i really believe they would be in all out attack mode

As for retained..

Saban, probably yes by LSU(though would be epic internal BOS battle imho), Bama, or Ark..rep as best in biz.

Miles, no at Bama if without a natty title(yes if with one), probably not at LSU(title or not), and Ark keeps him if with his title and/or win marks..CLM largely just doesn't carry the clout of irreplaceable despite the great W-L marks and title for a "secure program and school" that isn't still living off the mid-1960s hardware by Broyles.

Petrino, if without having a natty title already in hand at helm, no at Bama, no at LSU..and yet TBD at Ark.

Saban could be involved in a murder and he'd still be coach of Alabama.

If Miles gave us any reason to fire him with cause, his arse would be gone.

I don't think Bama OR LSU would sweep something like this "under the rug"....not in these days/times.

I think it is pretty safe to say Miles would be gone.

I doubt Saban would be fired though. Possible but I just can't see anyone letting him go.

We had a coach buy pussy on a university credit card and he got fired in two weeks. Never even got his shite moved in his office much less coached a practice.

I think Miles would be. I'm not sure that LSU is to the point that a coach is bigger than the program

I think Saban could be funding Al-Queda and he would not only keep his job but could convince Alabama fans to donate too.
