What he’s saying is that he wants to lock kids into bad contracts while they are minors and them restrict their ability to fix it once they see the reality.

There was that instance yesterday or so where Saban publicly praised Ole Miss’ RB saying he wished he had recruited him. That seems like a questionable thing. He’s basically telling the guy he wants him.

Even he knows as soon as the season is over with he is about to start losing recruits from that “paid” class he brought in last year. It’s free agency every year, he’s just gonna have to get better at it or just get out of the way.
