So, ESPN's pushing back the KO of the UGA-SCar game in Cootlumbia

from 12 noon to 12:12 pm eastern. ESPN wants to showcase the "atmosphere" and "environment" of WB Stadium and Carolina's "2001" entrance onto the field to the nation.
WB is gonna be rockin' and rollin'. This is USCjr's time to flex their feathers. Well, let's get it on, Chicks!

This isn't a recent thing. UGA students referred to Columbia as "Cootlumbia" back in the 1960's when I was a student there. It's an old term.
In any case, I'm nervous about this game knowing what happened a few years ago. Carolina's getting better.

The college football media loves Shane Beamer pretty hard. He must be really impressive in person. The whole situation reminds me of Butch Jones back int he day.

Night games at Williams-Brice are fantastic. It's been awhile since I attended a night game there (it was fun) and the atmosphere is absolutely electric.

This is just “manager” type coach speak. I want to preface what I’m about to say with “there is no comparison between the two” but Beamer seems like the Dabo coaching style. A “cheerleader” coach as I’ve called it before. Puts the right coordinators in place (Beamer has failed at this, Dabo has massively succeeded) and lets them do the XO work while pumping up his program.
The difference is between it being genuine and forced, IMO. I’m biased, but with Butch Jones it felt forced. With Beamer it’s goofy and over the top, but you can tell his heart is in it.
Again, I’m biased.

We even jumped on the fancy new lights train so that’s been fun too. I wish it was a night game tomorrow. We’d get donkey swamped still, but it’d be fun. Oh well, at least we will get it out of the way early.
