So, “Burrowhead” is now a thing, and it’s making KC mad

ESPN

I remember the big stink last year when KC fans were convinced the noise would intimidate Burrow.

Because, you know, an NFL stadium of 76,000 is so much more intimidating than an SEC stadium of 100K.

Missouri people, man.

quote:

The story behind the story is about as cut-and-dried as what it's referencing. During the team's 27-10 win over the Bills last weekend, Hilton was walking down the sideline, realized the Bengals were headed to Kansas City for another AFC Championship Game and saw Joe Burrow, the winning quarterback in last year's tilt for AFC supremacy. Last year's victory that sent the Bengals to the Super Bowl was the second of three consecutive victories against Kansas City, the first on the road.

Bengals are getting a little too overconfident for this game, I'm starting to think KC takes it.

Am a fan of JB but can any team in the NFL beat as good a team as the Chiefs are 4 times in a row?

Enjoy the off-season championships!

Don't forget that Kansas City is in for revenge. That is what this will be all about when it comes to this game.

Pretty sure Burrow is 3-0 vs Mahomes. Plenty of reasons for them to be confident

They're obsessed. Their crowd was chanting "frick the chiefs" in a game they weren't even playing KC.

They'll need some more ref help Sunday for a chance to win. Might be their last year to ever try to get a Lombardi since they'll have to pay Burrow

Nonsense. Why didn't you beat us this regular season then.

Did that matter at that time? Nope. This one gets to the Super Bowl! That is more important! I guess you think a regular season game win gets you to a homefield advantage? I guess Cincy couldn't get it done.

How did it go with Texas A&M? How did LSU lose to a team like Texas A&M that couldn't make to a bowl game? Like it was automatic. It can change. Like I said it will be for revenge when it matters. The regular season wasn't it. the playoff is where it matters the most since it leads to the Super Bowl.
