According to what I read in this board, LSU got first choice and we took what was left.

Have I got that right?

Uh I’d much rather take Casey even with the baggage. This isn’t even a comparison. Rings bitch.

I mean he does fit the narrative of a traditional Woodward hire but something seems off about this

To be fair, I actually think it’s a risky hire that could pay off big. Makes me think of when the whorns hired Soggy Burrito.

Except he was just a drunk, not a guy who wanted a child molester on his team.

You seemed to be confused about him being a good coach and him having baggage. You don't think he's a tier 1 level coach?

LSU never had any intentions on hiring Schlossnagle. Wasn’t even on the radar. He’s an overrated coach who is past his prime

LSU never had any intention of hiring Vitello either. Maybe it's Casey, maybe it is Bianco. I will enjoy the LSU tears either way

Why will we shed tears? LSU baseball brand is good enough to thrive with almost any coach. Hell if we get Casey we will have a coach that actually won World Series. Not my first choice but can’t go wrong with that choice
