Are Aggies really taking all their frustration on Mond that actually had a decent (by no means spectacular) game? Fisher just gets a pass? Alabama is talented but this year on paper is as good as any to get them. Not that it’s ever easy but on paper A&M was the team with the roster to be their biggest threat this year like LSU was in '19.

Year 3 and there is no significant progress. An experienced team and 3 full Jimbo classes is PLENTY of time to show results. Fisher is an experienced HC, he has the budget to hire the staff he wants. Mond is not a superstar but you can’t even stay on the field for a half vs Alabama?

Is Jimbo failing to meet expectations?

Now take a look at how he did against Vanderbilt.

Yeah he didn't play well no doubt. Who has him starting and has coached him for most of his career? Fisher just gets a free pass?

There is a reason Fisher signed James Foster in 2018. He was counting on a quarterback from Jameis Winston's district in Alabama having the same success. When Foster fell behind Starkel and then Calzada, he was stuck with Mond. I will be extremely disappointed if King doesn't take over by game 5.

No free pass. But it is a weird year. No OOC warm up games, players opting out, disruptions to team activities, high political/racial tensions in the locker room, etc.

I'm disappointed with A&Ms showing so far this year. This was absolutely supposed to be the year to see what Jimbo could do with his own guys filling out most of the roster, but it's hard to draw conclusions given everything else that's going on. Definitely not a geeat start to the year though.

Isn’t everybody getting a free pass this year? Nobody can afford to do anything, especially the Aggies. Weird year.

King is A&M's third highest rated quarterback signee ever, behind Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray. Reggie McNeal was classified as an "athlete".

Beat Florida and watch this thread melt into oblivion. Fisher has some big athletic dudes on that team. Young on the back end and Alabama exposed them. Otherwise, they were pretty stout and will be more than a handful for Mullen's bunch.

Jimbo needs to beat some folks in year 3. But in year 3, who doesn't?

Florida only has to defend up to 15 yards off the line of scrimmage as long as #11 is taking snaps.

It almost might be better to go 1-9 if it meant that Mond never takes another snap again.
