First off I hated to see what happened to tua hopefully he can come back fully healthy. It just sickens me that Nick Saban kept that kid in trying to get style points vs State.Tua had no business in that game or the LSU game. Tua had to much to lose to comeback so quick. Tua was a projected 1st overall pick and now he can't freaking walk for six months because of a-hole Saban. Of course a kid will want to play but as a Coach you have to protect the kids from themselves and have that kid best interest at heart. Nick Saban failed this kid big time. Tua was not practicing full tilt before the LSU game or the State game they was real careful with him. For Nick to say he wanted to get him some practice in a 2 minute drill during live action is total BS. Saban did not practice Tua in a controlled setting leading up to the LSU game or State game but try to practice him when real bullets are flying in a real game is total BULLSHYT. NICK SABAN is the problem with sports. A lot of people I have talked to say Nick is above reproach because he has won so many championships. Nick Saban should get lambasted for his actions for ruining Tua's football career.

The amazing Nick Saban aka snake oil salesman.

Saban has been saying tua is a game time decision for two weeks. Nick is trying to cover his arse in case tua hurt his ankle again or worse tear an acl or something that causes him to miss the combine and drop in the draft.

I believe Tua could be back best case auburn worst case he could be gone for the rest of the season. If tua's dad is in control he will shut his kid down and get him fully healthy for the combine. You can't roll the dice on 1st overall money.

Why would a sure 1st overall pick try to come back so fast from an injury that could jeopardize his draft position? Not to mention an injury that could cost him millions of dollars?

Can you imagine tua playing vs LSU and injuring his ankle again? I'm sure we all agree that Aranda will send blitzes at tua all night to get him moving on that ankle. The backlash on Saban's football program and the university would be epic if this kid hurt his ankle again. If you think Nick don't like the media now. What would he do when every news outlet in America is asking "why did you play tua"? The media would run him into retirement.

Nick has already said "it is up to the kids to say if they could play or not when they are coming back from injury. That's the snake oil salesman talking. If the kid get hurt again it's on the kid not Nick. First off any coach that cares about his kids would care about their future. Nick is known as an a~hole in the sports world if he put that kid on the field and he is not 100% healthy Shame on Nick!

It's taken most of the 12 years Saban has been in Tuscaloosa, but most LSU fans have finally let go of Saban and constantly bitching about every thing the man says.
Nowadays, it is all about refs and conspiracies for your fans.
Catch up.

Not really.

I mean, you do know that having the Tight Rope procedure done basically makes spraining your ankle impossible in the future, right?

Ed Orgeron Provides Injury Update For Safety Grant Delpit
quote:

No. 2 LSU and No. 3 Alabama are set to play on Saturday in the biggest college football game of the regular season. There’s plenty on the line in Saturday’s contest.

In regards to the injury front, all eyes are on Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. His availability may dictate the game’s outcome. Players of Tagovailoa’s caliber don’t come around too often, especially at the quarterback position.

As for the Tigers, Ed Orgeron is hoping his All-American safety, Grant Delpit, will be healthy for Saturday’s game. Delpit suffered an ankle injury against Auburn nearly two weeks ago.

The LSU head coach gave an injury update for Delpit on Thursday evening.

“We still have 48 hours to go,” Orgeron said, via 247Sports. “We still feel that he’s gonna play. (He’s done) A lot of rehab. He does some individual today, ran around today, felt well. We didn’t push him too hard.”

As Orgeron said, the Tigers expect their star safety to play on Saturday. But there is still some concern regarding Delpit’s availability considering he still isn’t a full participant at LSU’s practice.

“He didn’t practice all week,” Orgeron said. “He tried to practice today. There were some good things, but we didn’t do too much with him.”

It’s tough to gauge what LSU’s plan is for its star safety. It’s looking like this one may be a game-time decision.

He can't injure the ankle again. The surgery prevents that.

There is no such a thing as can't injure an ankle again after tight rope.

Delpit isn't 100% healthy, yet he is playing in spite of Divinity leaving the team. Is Coach O careless and awful for playing the players he has?

Please stop embarrassing our team. I want tua in there. If we can’t beat a team at their best we don’t deserve to win. Don’t be a bitch. Thank god you don’t play for us. Please keep your offspring away from this team if they play ball. Send them to bama.
