They were 1-11 when he got there and 7-5 when he left. There's plenty to shite on Chad about, but this ain't it.

Dear god...you hired a 7-5 coach from SMU?

Why?

Morris is a decent OC. - however, I still think Clemson has been better since he left, and now SMU as well. It will be interesting to see if he gets another HC job, or has to settle for OC

What were Barry Odom’s credentials? What’s his record at Mizzou with your best QB ever?

The honest answer is because A&M considered hiring him for a second.

Same thing said when Brett was there. He was even better and the other guy before him? Going backwards!

Not even close. The cabinets were completely bare and we knew it. Everyone knew we were in for a rebuild. I honestly believe that's why he got the job. They saw him take SMU from 1-11 to a bowl and figured he knew how to establish and build a winning program. The problem is the rebuild hasn't gone anywhere.

We were in the middle of hiring an AD while we were searching for a head coach. The moneybags were definitely a force in the search. Jerry donated over a mil for a building with his name on it on campus so I'm sure he had his nose right in the middle of it.

He inherited an incredible shite show and built a solid foundation for their current coach. He deserves some credit for their success
