This is all the NCAA would've done had Wade chosen to speak with LSU officials. The fact that LSU wants full cooperation, and clarification in the presence of the NCAA tells us LSU will do like they've always done and bend over backwards to the NCAA in every way.

Yeah, LSU fans are just glossing over what they don't want to read. The LSU AD apparently is having pressure put on them by Smart/Mom and they really have no reason to sit him at this point. However, the NCAA is not through looking into the matter.

It makes sense to play him no matter what the NCAA finds in the future if they find anything at all. There is no benefit to LSU, Smart or the NCAA to sit him.

A wiretap doesn’t prove shite...(esp when no details of said offer are in it) Gotta have evidence! None been found to date and good luck finding it

Even if the NCAA put out a press release today like they did with Cam, it would only be relevant to the present day.
New info can surface. New evidence can surface. As it could have with Cam. As it did last week in this matter. And likely will again this year.
All we know is that as of *today*, LSU did their due diligence and reviewed everything they could in all of a week with the NCAA by their side. And then LSU evaluated the risk of allowing Javonte to play. Surely they ran everything they learned by the NCAA to gauge the risk of playing Javonte.
LSU has a long history of being very cautious and working very closely with the NCAA once a issue is found.
Sorry to be a broken record. FTR, I think you're trying to have an honest dialogue.

Nobody knows the future. But LSU would get slammed hard if they played a kid despite knowing about violations. Which is why LSU involved the NCAA every step of the way this week.

I get what you are saying following this statement, but its really just a rehash of what you were trying to point out prior. But AU's point still stands. LSU did the clearing, not the NCAA. In the case of Cam, the NCAA did the clearing in both circumstances(Dec reinstatement and the final ruling)

This doesnt mean hes innocent. Its just like us playing Cam in 2010. If nothing is found then why sit him out....if something is found hes already played so who gives a frick at this point. Might as well try to win everything you can at this point.
