Whether he wins the award or not, what Bill Clark has done is incredible.

Agreed.
You have to think that several names on this list have already been contacted by “big name” programs, looking to make a coaching change in the offseason.

Did you see Bama's linebacker corps by the end of the year? Our entire defense was full of injuries. It was easily one of Saban's best years.


That said, he's a coach that's won 5 titles in 9 years, but the COtY award only once. So coaches loaded with talent rarely win.

Its a lot more fun to give the award to a coach at a small school that is having an absurdly good season.
