Jarvis Jones is a recent one that comes to mind.

I thought he was going to translate well to the NFL but I know nothing.

Craig Davis. Always thought he'd be a really damn good pro.

Morris Claiborne. Inexplicable to me. Incredible at press-man in college against elite competition and can no longer do that in the pros.

Never the same after the leg injury IMO. And apparently had an attitude problem in the pros.

I was still really high on him and wanted the Saints to draft him. Glad we didn't.

Man, so surprising. Guy was a beast of a football player.

Alec Ogletree. I thought he was going to be one of the best middle linebackers in the NFL.

He's still in the league. Going on his 7th season. I wouldn't say he didn't "pan out"

He's more fitting.

I know and that's awesome for Mingo, just thought he'd be more than a special teams guy in the NFL with how dominant he was at LSU.

Ace Sanders

This is a really good answer.

Pharoh Cooper hasn't been a stud but at least he's stayed in the league.

Ace spent 2 years with the Jags and only had 1 career TD before his playing days were over.

I think he had a couple injuries, but even when he was healthy he really struggled to get to the passer and be as disruptive as he was in college.

Michael Clayton of the 2003 National Champions.

He had a great rookie season but then his production dropped (some due to injuries). He never regained his rookie form.

Greg Robinson stands out. Not only a bust but he’s in jail for trying to smuggle 157 pounds of weed through the Mexico border.

Reggie Nelson was the immediate person to come to mind. I thought he was going to be all pro, potential hall of famer.

Rolando McClain - I think he had the ability to be very good in the NFL, he just couldn't stay out of trouble

Yeah, Rolando is a special case considering it had nothing to do with his athletic ability but rather his off-field issues.

I'd go with Trent Richardson. Dude had ALL the tools, destroyed SEC defenses, but couldn't hack it in the pros. I thought once he was away from the Browns things might change, but sadly not.

Cadillac. He showed a lot of promise as a rookie but injuries and being on a terrible team and he flamed out pretty quick.

I wonder how many flamed out just because they were on terrible teams.

For a top 10 pick, he hasn’t been an elite player in the league and been on 5 Teams in 7 seasons and only started 38 of 110 possible games he’s been in

Always thought Barrett Jones would kill it in NFL. I have heard his family has money. What happened to him? Who drafted him and what round was it?
