Underachieved- Texas A&M
Overachieved- Maybe Missouri. I never thought they would EVER win 2 division titles in the SEC. An argument could also be made for Kentucky.

UGA has underachieved in the fact that they do not have a national title by now especially with all that elite talent.
AU, Bama, LSU, UF all have one or more. Now it's Georgia's turn and they always fall a little bit short. Can Kirby get them there??

Over achieved Auburn, because they suck

Under achieved Arkansas because they should easily be the 2nd best program in the west

Not to take a cheap shot or pile on too much, but this really is the #1 answer for underachieving.

As dominant as the SEC has been, as much talent as UGA has, the continuity in coaching, and as relatively weak as the East has been since Meyer's departure and the demise of UTk, it seems like it would have all come together at least once in a manner that doesn't involve having the rug ripped out from underneath them in the final 2 minutes of a CG.

Overacheivers: Mizzou, 2 SEC Division titles. Granted they were in years when Troy would have had a shot to win the East, but they still managed it.

Under/Overachievers: Auburn's roller coaster program.

Underachieved - UGA is the correct answer, but another one is Auburn. 17 top 20 recruiting classes and 9ish top 10 recruiting classes in the past 20 years, yet only one championship and a bunch of wasted seasons under Malzahn.

Overachieved - Missouri. Almost went to a national championship in 2007 and won two SEC East Titles. Also, today I learned that Missouri has been to 12 bowl games since 2003. Wouldn't have guessed that.

The topic did say since 2000, right? In that case how on Earth has UGA underachieved more than Tennessee? At least we've been consistently really good winning 3 sec titles and actually knocked on the door a few times, compared to fellow big 6 member Tennessee that has been largely irrelevant for half of this time span

I mean it has to be UT right? They did have some success in the early 2000s still with Fulmer still rolling but they went from a legitimate national power in the late 90s to beginning the worst stretch in program history only half a dozen or so years later.

UGA had all the luck in the world in 2017. Everything aligned perfectly.

People forget that Tennessee was once a legitimate national power. Tennessee is without a doubt the correct answer here. From 1989-2001, they were among the most consistently dominant college football programs. Now they are a legitimate laughing stock.

It’s the turn of the century. Include the 60’s if that helps your insecure arse have a conversation.

At the end of the day is about consistency
That's what puts you in position to make a playoff or natty run every 4 years or so
Going back to the 50's LSU has been very consistent with the exception of the Hallman years

Since we are the almost unanimous "Overachievers", figured I'd just post our seasons.

2000 Smith 3–8 2–6 T-5th (North)
Gary Pinkel (Big 12) (2001–2011)
2001 Pinkel 4–7 3–5 T-4th (North)
2002 Pinkel 5–7 2–6 5th (North)
2003 Pinkel 8–5 4–4 3rd (North) L Independence
2004 Pinkel 5–6 3–5 T-3rd (North)
2005 Pinkel 7–5 4–4 T-2nd (North) W Independence
2006 Pinkel 8–5 4–4 T-2nd (North) L Sun
2007 Pinkel 12–2 7–1 1st (North) W Cotton 5 4
2008 Pinkel 10–4 5–3 1st (North) W Alamo 16 19
2009 Pinkel 8–5 4–4 T-2nd (North) L Texas
2010 Pinkel 10–3 6–2 T-1st (North) L Insight 18 18
2011 Pinkel 8–5 5–4 W Independence
Gary Pinkel (SEC) (2012–2015)
2012 Pinkel 5–7 2–6 5th (East)
2013 Pinkel 12–2 7–1 1st (East) W Cotton 5 5
2014 Pinkel 11–3 7–1 1st (East) W Citrus 11 14
2015 Pinkel 5–7 1–7 6th (East)
Barry Odom (SEC) (2016–2019)
2016 Odom 4–8 2–6 7th (East)
2017 Odom 7–6 4–4 T-3rd (East) L Texas
2018 Odom 8–5 4–4 T-4th (East) L Liberty
2019 Odom 6–6 3–5 T-4th (East)

For underachievers, gotta go Tennessee. For a program that thinks of themselves as blue blood, they only have four 10 win seasons since 2000....Missouri has 5

Fun fact - if my math is right both Mizzou and SC have exactly 146 wins since 2000. So we're overachievers together?

Underachieved- UGA by a mile

Tennessee has declined greatly starting in 2000.

Florida had a dominant run with Urban but has had some extremely weak years too with Zook, Muschamp and Beaver teeth.

UGA is spoonfed talent and they can’t win it. Georgia produces badass lineman, QBs, skill guys, literally everything and most of them are within an hour of campus.

How they haven’t put it together for at least 1 title in the past 40 years baffles me.

Over achieved- Missouri. Getting into the SEC, winning 2 East titles and almost making it to the natty in 07
