Seriously? I know we suck this year, but you realize we have two undefeated seasons in that time frame, right?

Congrats on having what, 3 more current nfl players than UF. UF current nfl team would beat LSU current nfl team. Dwi

Oh, I see, then let me include the projected 1st round picks for LSU this year then.

Bama still isn't even close to LSU in number of current NFL players.

OK,

then since 2000 AND not counting this coming draft bama has 13 1st round picks total.

2000: 2
2009: 1
2010: 2
2011: 4
2012: 4

Bama has just as many in the past 4 years alone.

2010 draft: 2
2011: draft: 4
2012 draft: 4
2013 draft: projected at least 3, probably 4

Total of at least 13.
well if we are going to project the 2013 draft, LSU will have more as well

We've had a lot of players that were pretty great in college that for whatever reason never panned out on the next level. I didn't realize we were putting together a who has the best current players in the NFL team. That's right, we're not.

UF has 34 I believe.

Come up with a better current team of players in the nfl playing at their current level. Guarantee your little LSU team won't beat:

SS - Major Wright
FS - Ahmad Black/Reggie Nelson
CB - Joe Haden
CB - Janoris Jenkins
LB - Mike Peterson
LB - Brandon Spikes
LB - Jermaine Cunningham
DE - Carlos Dunlap
DT - Ray McDonald
DT - Jaye Howard
DE - Jeremy Mincey

T- Max Starks
G - Pouncey
C - Pouncey
G - Cooper Carlisle
T - Marcus Gilbert
TE - Aaron Hernandez
WR - Percy Harvin
WR - Cooper/Caldwell/Gaffney/Thompson/Murphy/Nelson
RB - Chris Rainey
FB - Tebow
QB - Rex Grossman

Then we have other guys (ie: Alex Brown, C4, Earnest Graham, Lito Sheppard, Gerard Warren, etc) who fit the original criteria of your thread who are also better than anyone LSU has had since 2000, but is not currently in the nfl

LSU makes a decent 2nd place squad though

You're saying Alex Brown is better than any Dlinemen that LSU has had since 2000?

okay. We're 6-7 against you guys since 2000 and we have more current NFL players.

I'd say at WORST, it's even.

CRIMSON TIDE PLAYERS ON NFL ROSTERS: The Alabama football program is well represented in the NFL as it starts the 2012 season with former players and coaches dotting league rosters. The Tide has 50 former players and coaches working in the NFL this season. The Crimson Tide has 39 current NFL players in addition to 11 former UA players and/or coaches serving as assistant coaches in the NFL this season. Over the last four years, Alabama has had more NFL first round picks than any other school (11), including four in each of the past two drafts.

since 2000, UF and UGA have comparable talent to LSU. heck, even UT had talent in the 2000's. Tubs at Auburn didn't recruit as well as other teams in the big6.

1. LSU, UF, UGA
4. UT
5. Auburn
6. Bama (Dubose, Shula era, etc)

How many times does it need to be said this isn't about NFL production? If you get drafted #6 overall, you've obviously had a pretty good college career. Sorry you're an angry saints fan.

I'm assuming the OP's list is debunked too since he had JR at QB for LSU...right?

CBS or ESPN showed a stat recently that LSU had the most players in the NFL, followed by UGA. UF was third or fourth.
