Since 1991, the Gators have not played a true out-of-conference away game outside of FL

... and have not won one since 1989. This might be a weaker move than Bama continuing to play Tennessee every year.

Florida State during the majority of that time was MUCH better than any team we could've scheduled. That game was a top 5 non conference matchup almost every year.

Yeah sorry Florida isn't a state with only 1 power school, so we don't have to drive very far to get good OOC games.

How is that series vs FSU going? Are you ever going to give them another game in Tallahassee?

Oct. 27 1990 L3-42 Tallahassee
Sep. 16 1989 L21-31 Baton Rouge

It's been 30 years and financially, it makes more sense to have the double neutral site games. I would LOVE to take a crack at FSU in Tiger Stadium or in Doak.

Schools are always going to take the neutral site games at big locations that are willing to pay them to show up.

Fact of the matter is that when the Gators schedule an opening game for the season, it's always either at home or a neutral site. They tried to blackball UCF at their prime a few years ago by BEGGING them for a 2 home/1 away game, which was absolute shite.

You can't tell me that the Gators aren't actually afraid to play a real away game.

Wow, it must suck to be 2-7 vs FSU. And why has LSU only played once in Tally? Asking for a friend, of course.

Don't get me wrong, I will pull for LSU any time they play FSU, or anyone else for that matter.

Now son, you remember what happened the last time LSU said Florida was scared to play? We had to come and find you. And it ended Leonard Fournette's college career.

Such a stubborn lot you tigers.

They were QUICK with the memes. They were awfully quiet when we went into their place on short notice and locked up the division.

Assclown talks about Fournette but posts the gif of Guice.

Friendly reminder that it's been 1,411 days since Florida last beat LSU, but please keep living in the past since there's legitimately no future for Florida. Enjoy getting thwomped by Tenneseee and Kentucky this year.

You know what, we would be remiss if we didn't let the shark fricker rub a little salt in the would. This one is for the OP.

They got what they deserved...and it should have been worse.

Because we had already made Fournette quit before the game was over.

Why don't you stay on topic junior? Don't try moving the goalpost on me.

You are calling UF scared and I still don't have an answer to why LSU played FSU so many times at home and then quit scheduling them altogether?

Why should they?

They have eight SEC games plus FSU each year. They should play Miami each year.

That would leave one game which they should rotate between UCF, USF, FAU, and FIU to keep all of that money in FL.

We don't care if the money stays in Florida, it will just go to FSU eventually.

The local sales tax collected in Gainesville on home game Saturdays goes to FSU?

Some of it, yeah.

Are you not aware of how state sales taxes work or do you think game days are state sales tax holidays?
