SIAD - Why Aren't SEC Nation and Game Day Coming to AU?

I see the argument for Game Day. OSU is ranked higher than AU. But why in the actual frick is SEC Nation not coming to AU?
Bama is going to curb stomp an SEC team that isn't ranked and isn't even bowl eligible.

The morning show on JOX had Finebaum on the phone earlier this week and he said something about their contract states they have to go to every SEC campus each year. They never made it to Oxford last year so they wanted to go ahead and knock them out early this season to make up for last year. IDK how much truth is in that, but it's what he said

The Auburn mascot "confusion" on this board has long been played out. I could give two shits if people don't understand the difference between a mascot and battle cry.
OM has been through 3 different mascots in a period of 6 years or less? They should have just gone with Admiral Ackbar and called it a day.

Because they love coming to Baton Rouge and LSU still has uga, state, and bama at home. They’re saving LSU for one of those 3. Probably uga after lsu beats auburn

It’s the best home game for Auburn all season, unless the Aggies can string some wins together. Doesn’t make much sense. ESPN absolutely sucks anyway, so not much of a surprise.
