Incarnate Word has to start their tournament Thursday. They weren’t interested in playing either. But we are evil so …

To all the butthurt LoSerU fans on this post:
IW mutually agreed to cancel the game in order to save their pitchers for their tournament. Get over it. Never seen so many crybabies about something that does not have the slightest thing to do with LoSerU

Given the amount of SEC suicide this incarnate word game cancellation has caused, I'm inclined to cancel a game every year in every sport, just to kill off some of these fricking retards.

I just heard Aggies had canceled their mid week game when the radio people were asking if LSU made the right choice by playing today. I was thinking I missed something. Is there a reason A&M canceled other than to protect RPI? Why even bother scheduling the game to begin with. It's not like they were projected to have an amazing season and it went south. They were always going to bring down the RPI. Kind of feels like the coach never thought his team would be in this position to begin with.

Actually this is one of the worst IW teams in a bit. Usually they put together a good ball club, so scheduling them usually isn't an issue for your RPI. They just happen to be having a down year.

It's actually not all that unusual for clubs to cancel late season games against low RPI opponents since due to the idiocy of the system even a win against a low RPI team will drop you.

At that point you have a choice, play a game you're almost assuredly going to win and lose RPI, or cancel it and move on. Johnson knows he ain't hosting a region after the debacle at Alex Box against Ole Miss, so there's really no harm in playing the game. For the teams on the bubble of hosting though, it's really a no brainer.

We poked fun at LSU fans for the whole “2020 doesn’t count” so A&M fans shouldn’t think they get off easily in this.

You ran away from Incarnate Word, Aggies.
Man up and admit it.

I have no problem with it. We are hated anyway so might as well play the villain everyone paints us as.

Means we are doing something right

s it "yellow-bellied" to sacrifice a pawn in order to win a chess game?

Oh, SimpleHank, sacrificing a pawn means that you give up the pawn. That analogy only works if the forfeit is recorded.

No one is painting you as a villain. We’re painting you as a bitch for backing out of a scheduled game.

Just like Wake Forest. It’s becoming habit for you.

If you can’t figure out the difference between the two situations, you are more stupid than we expect as an LSU fan.

Yes. And Ole Miss and Ok State and ND this year. Several others.

This is only a story because 1) A&M has been in the news for our recruiting success, and we're making a lot of people nervous and angry right now and 2) it fits a trolling narrative after cancelling football bowl game and some basketball games because of COVID.
