Should we just skip the Heisman this year and save it for another year?

I really don't see anybody that's performing at a good enough level this season. Who's actually in the lead right now? Baker Mayfield?

i agree with this. It's a joke this year.

Some stupid unwritten "rules" for that trophy, iyam.
Must be on a very good team.
Must be a QB, RB or WR.
Not absolute rules but almost. It's easier to excel and put up good stats when you play on a great team. Sometimes there are awesome players on an avareage teams, but they rarely win it.
By definition it's supposed to be awarded to the best, most outstanding, most valuable player in college football.
It's more of a media darling contest.

All are worthy
1723 rushing yards on only 195 carries. That is 8.8 ypc! He found the endzone 16 times in 10 games and at least 1 in every game he's played (missed the OSUw game)
4560 yards (pass + run) & 40 TDs (pass + run)
3816 pass yards with a 70.8 comp % to go along with 34 TDs and only 5 picks. While he's not Jackson running with the ball, he does have 240 yards and 5 more TDs.

Derrick Henry
Mark Ingram
Mark Ingram

Actually, I think Mizzou's Lock deserves it. I know his team is not as good, but he put up ridiculous numbers in the SEC.(against teams that actually play defense) For that reason alone I would give him the nod over Mayfield.
