Laugh all you want but Ec O could be a DC at Saints and do far better than what they've had. He has a will to win and players under him play hard. He just isn't head coaching material.
I personally like the guy. Hell, if we lost our DC I'd take O..He can recruit bigtime and players love the guy.

So do far better than Dennis Allen? Have you looked at how consistently good the Saints defense has been the last 3 or 4 years under him?? Obviously not, or you wouldn't have posted something so completely wrong.

Bingo.....Dennis is elite and the reason the Saints have problems is not due to defense.

He's never been a coordinator on his career, and that comes through in his generally awful decision-making.

Realistically, they should never consider this move. That said, if they did it, I would damn sure watch it. Especially if he starts to get as involved in the coaching decisions as he was in 2021-22 (he admittedly had some success when he was more hands off in 2017-19)...

Dude no way. This is crazy.
The saints have had a badass D recently the last few seasons. Dennis Allen has done an excellent job. No way in hell Ed Orgeron would/could pull off a better job than what Allen has done. No way.
