Or would it be a waste of money? No one in the south seems to care until March. And maybe a couple rival games.

Yea, but in a coaching staff, my question is along with baseball, are coaches going to start breaking record salaries? We can afford it

This post shows you haven't been paying attention to the rise of SEC basketball. I would argue the quality of the conference as a whole has steadily risen in the last 10 years.

An increase in investment would be needed. With the goal of college basketball in the league being able to support itself. I was thinking more about advertising its basketball programs more in the media and among its students. Some schools already can but I doubt most do at the moment.

See, the call to ban for only mentioning basketball. Basketball has a long way to go in the south.

You seriously post a picture of an arena they won’t belong to you until 2035 because you don’t have the money

Big 12 has a lien on that half finished chicken house until well passed 2035.

Didn't even have to pay for 2/3rds of the build and still get all of the proceeds from Longhorn events and a portion of the others. What a terrible deal

You don't even own that 40 year old auditorium you call an arena

It wouldn't be any more of a waste of money than it's been a waste of money for the Moo Moo's to be spending the whole world on their football program and get nothing in return.

You forfeit all revenue from all non it events and all concessions from Longhorn events as well

And you are simply squatters until 2035

You held 4 capital campaigns to try to fund an arena and all failed

It is proven that your donors don’t care about basketball

No one really disliked the Erwin Center tbh. (despite the 2 people saying "tOo bIg") We wouldn't be building anything new if we didn't need a frickin hospital or whatever.
