We should keep Leach as long as we can, unless he starts having sub .500 seasons.

This guy is available! He seemed to do very well at Ms. State.

No, we should not move on from Leach. At least not for a couple more seasons.

I think the biggest thing with me is that the best coaches make do with the roster that they have. Dan Mullen's turnaround in year one was incredibly evident. Despite not having his players yet, it felt like he worked within the limitations of the roster he inherited.

Joe Moorhead had no idea what to do with Nick Fitgerald and it showed.

Mike Leach is trying to take a team that has had a run-first offense for like 100 years and suddenly expect them to pass the football 60 times a game. Incorporating the run a little more in order to set up the pass wouldn't hurt anything. His stubbornness to deviate from his boilerplate game plan hurts him

Leach is over .500 at State. He would be the 2nd consecutive coach that State would've fired with a winning record. You're also last in the West in NIL. Unless firing Leach is going to catapult historic NIL contributions, I think it would be very hard to pitch this job to a prospective coach.

Kiffin is too unpredictable. He seems to be enjoying himself at Ole Miss but I can't help believe he will move on when a big name comes calling. Florida or Florida State would be perfect for him.

Leach can coach but he always seems to be his own worst enemy. Like the OP said, he needs to run the ball more.

Suddenly? He's had three summer camps, two spring trainings, and coached 33 games.

Basically. Let’s not act like there’s an expectation of playoffs in Starksville, Leach can get you 8 fun wins a season, what’s the issue? He’s improved in the win column each season since arriving there. Fire Leach and whom is it that you’ll get? Doubt the Miss State list is the same as Auburns in terms of HC

He’ll leave after next season unless Auburn manages to pull him

What we don't like is his stubbornness and inability to adapt and use the running game.

What, pray tell, did you think you were getting when Leach was hired? They call his offense the Air Raid for a reason.

Leach is the best thing to happen in Mississippi State since Jackie Sherrill. If you guys are fricking stupid enough to fire that guy then you get what you deserve.

I would not fire Mike Leach, he is a good coach and knows what he is doing. He may not be the goat but give him more time. I don't dislike Mississippi State at all but 8-4 would be pretty good for you guys this year. Did y’all expect to be in playoff contention?

Auburn is too much of a pressure cooker for Kiffin. Saban keeps running their coaches off. But I do believe Kiffin could win big at Auburn.

I still think he was made for the 2 Florida schools.

Please stop posting.

Leach is doing a good job. We are a much better team today than we were in 2019.

I put the collapse last Saturday on the players. The coaches had done the their jobs. Our players started playing like the game was over in the second quarter.

To our guys credit, we refocused late and won the game because we were the better team.

We are 6-3 this year. The only game that we were out of the whole way was Bama. LSU and Kentucky, we had the lead the second half. Both were winnable games.

On paper, UGA should win by 15-20 points over us tomorrow. That may or may not happen. If we should win the game, please refrain from posting about how happy you are when you have made it plain that you want Leach gone.

Watching us squirm as a top ten team who will be going for our third straight Egg Bowl win in a few weeks?

This is pretty typical Dawg behavior. Y'all don't want to focus on your shitty team so you try and create drama for the Rebs.

Players at State should stop paying attention to their fat little girlfriends and eating fish sandwiches. Everything else will take care of itself.

we should also remove ALL shade trees and BAN lemonade on campus. its just leads to tomfoolery.

Definitely acting like an edgelord

Probably the perfect word to describe him. I’m not sure if it’s the fact that, as an LSU fan, I dealt with qUiRkY coaches for 15 years and find no amusement in it, or that I feel like he would legitimately shoot himself in the foot to stick to his brilliant transcendental offense, but I would fricking hate having Mike Leach as our coach. The 8-5 year-in-year-out thing is awful as a fan IMO

I almost fell out laughing because his analysis was spot on.
Plus seeing him tossing the chairs was golden.
The guy knows how to coach and his analogies are right even when they are laced with humor.
The dinosaur tale about no hands was another good one.
