Should Mississippi State move on from Mike Leach?

There's beginning to be a lot of rumblings from Mississippi State fans are aren't happy with the way Mike Leach is running things in Starkville. Mainly his refusal to use the running game at all.
The most recent example was against Auburn this past week as State went out to a 24-3 lead in the 2nd quarter Leach then goes on to call 24 straight passing plays and 3 other plays were sacks by Auburn 2 of which were strip sacks they recovered.
We have shown that we can run the ball vs A&M and Arkansas earlier this season. Heck we even had our first 100 yd rusher since leach was hired in the Arkansas game. However since then he has completely ababdoned the run all together and if not for a late FG state made vs Auburn we could possibly be looking at 4 SEC losses in a row with Georgia tomorrow.
With all that said, has Leach passed his prime? He's shown hes not willing to adjust or change his offensive philosophy and hes struggle with it vs elite SEC defenses.
Don't be shocked if the season ends bad for State and the Pirate Leach sails into the sunset of retirement.

Yes. Leach needs to go.

He is 6-3 with a really tough schedule let’s see how it plays out.

There's even an issue where our 2 most talented WR's arent being put on the field at the same time b/c they play the same position and he wont adjust to get his best two play makers on the field (Tula Griffith and Rara Thomas)

I would advise against firing Leach, but that's just me.

Definitely acting like an edgelord with his refusal to run the ball. That would drive me fricking insane. You simply cannot thrive in the SEC without running the ball.

If he gets blown out at Ole Miss to go 0-3 in Egg Bowls and gets blown out Saturday vs Georgi (which is going to happen) HAMMER Georgia those who bet.

Don't get me wrong I like Leach, as do many of our fans. What we don't like is his stubbornness and inability to adapt and use the running game. All of his former assistants and players who are now coaches use the running game with the air raid Leach won't.

Don’t pull an Arkansas in a year where a lot of bigger names have fired coaches and overplay your hand. Remember, y’all used to be completely horrible. State has gained/earned a lot of respect from Mullen forward.

Leach is a pretty good coach. Better than a likely replacement. You really need to keep Leach, imo.

Up 3 scores in the first Half in an SEC game, no reason NOT to run the ball. he used the run vs Ark and & A&M but VS Kentucky I think we had 8 runs the entire game, vs Bama the few times we ran we had slivers of success, and vs Auburn I think we had 10 runs by the RBs
24 straight passes and 27 play calls for a pass (3 sacks) just blows my mind in a game we were up multiple TDS

I would definitely get rid of him if I was calling the shots at State.

I was under the impression that y'all were running the ball more, this year.
I would say that, if he is changing up his playbook and incorporating the run more, that you should give his recruiting time to catch up with this change. Certainly, Leach's recruiting has been tailored to his playbook, and he will need to change that up to make it more effective.
IDK.
Leach just seems like a good hire, especially after the abortion that y'all had in there.

Players at State should stop paying attention to their fat little girlfriends and eating fish sandwiches. Everything else will take care of itself.

Lol. Leach has never been willing to adjust. He has done exactly the same thing for 20+ years, regardless of school or roster, and he will continue to do exactly the same thing he always has for the rest of his coaching career.
Mike Leach is who he is. He will field good teams. He will pull some upsets. He will lose some headscratchers. He will lose on Thanksgiving weekend. He will go to middle to upper-middle tier bowls. He will win about half of them. No more. No less. Ever.

So fans, boosters, and administration should just be ok with his unwillingness to make adjustments.
In most other jobs anywhere in the SEC where there is a problem coaches fix it. Leach has a track record of not fixing it just saying screw it this is my system i'm sticking to it. The problem is now here in the SEC teams have figured him out and have elite defensive players who can defend the pass.

1. He's regressing in running and seems to be unwilling to commit to the run.
2. Recruiting we are barely above Vandy in recruiting and he finally actually went to his first HS game in Mississippi to watch a recruit (supposedly after administration told him to be more visiable)
