and use his redshirt to have 2 for 2?

Or drop a division and play out his time?

Mullen thought he had Hurts 3 years ago. Then Joey Freshwater swooped in and got Jalen in front of the Emperor. The rest is history.

What could Texas be with Hurts at QB? I think he accelerates Tom Herman's plan dramatically, like instant contender for the Big12

No thanks we don’t want him . He can run the ball but his passing is a joke . He would have to sit out a year , plus he Bama will never allow him to go UF.

He’s backing up Tua in 2018. Then grad transfers out.

Hurts isn't going anywhere. Tue won't be able to take the SEC beating.

I'm sure this one was meant to spur replies, don't think this QB competition is over Saban much prefers mistake free play at QB to insane playmaking ability. Tua won the game for Alabama in our game, but he also did some things that could've cost Bama the game had we been able to capitalize. One half of football and two spring and fall camps are not gonna fix some of the bad decision making that only gets corrected watching game footage.

We've seen what happens when Bama is down by 13 at the half because they can't throw the football. What happens when they're down by 13 or so because they've given up two scores due to QB mistakes?

Are you serious? Tua's ability to score, and score quickly will still be the overriding factor. Hell, teams have to work their arse off to score on Alabama, and here you've got a guy who can score from anywhere...anytime.

Of coiurse, that's the way it's gonna be most of the time, but you will face some defenses that can slow you down.
