OK I will. It happened just last year. THE Ohio State University sat home while PennState, a two loss team that beat them head to head, won the Big 10 Championship and had both of those things on their resume.

And got bypassed.

We have precedent. Next question?

Last year all the Bama fans were saying that if you didn't win the conference championship you shouldn't make it in the playoffs.

I agree that Bama is the better team, but tOSU should go to the playoffs.

Bama fans clearly underestimating the importance to the committee of not leaving out P5 conferences.

Non response. Bama did it in the 2011 season also, but that doesn't make it "right."

No they didn't. With that resume, they still had to wonder if they were getting in.

Fans didn't vote OSU in last year. Precedent was set by the committee.

Worked for OSU so why not bama. Unless winning your conference is only a requirement for teams not named OSU.

I swear I don't understand some of you Auburn and LSU fans. Your hatred for Bama has you blinded. Two SEC teams in the playoff would be awesome. And yes, Bama is one of the top 4 teams in the country. That's why we have a committee. To vote in the best teams.
