what happened to the defense? SEC wise not a top 5 defense in the SEC with the toughest part of the schedule remaining.

Aranda checking out? Beef between Aranda and O?

I saw a major difference in tackling between the Miami game and the Florida game. Players getting soft?

Well, Georgia can't lose, so it won't matter.

Georgia is done. Reverse jinxs. Work. That's the only reason we had a chance vs Auburn

Maybe Aranda is getting lazy. He's making 2 M a year and Lsu has no way to get out of his deal. He already doesn't recruit much at all.

No way, I just don't see any weaknesses. Georgia has already won at S. Carolina and at Missouri. Look for the UGA offense to do what they want, when they want.

I'm sure Texas A & M could have pretty much shutdown Fla last weekend in Gainesville. Hopefully Aranda is watching tape trying to be like aTm.

That only works once a year and you used your allotment on Auburn.

Hellooo...have you watched Georgia this year...#2 in the country right by Alabama, how is LSU going to stay on the Field with them. Fromm looked like fricking Tom Brady against Vandy last weekend..and the week before that..really going back to the opener against Austin Peay

Sarcasm to hide his pain and fear. Noble, but not funny.

Scarlett is nasty at breaking tackles can't put all the blame on LSU. That man is hard to bring down with one person.

Damn right I have fear, this is fricking Georgia, they could have won the National Championship last season. 2nd and what 26? A few plays away from a Natty. Georgia will probably beat Ohio State and Alabama on the way to a National Championship.

I like Aranda and have complete confidence in him as LSU’s DC... and possibly - if the circumstances present themself - to be LSU’s HC down the road.

D didn’t step up a couple times at Florida where I would have liked for it to, but I believe Aranda and LSUs D will have a great game versus Georgia. I belive the UGA game will come down to LSUs ability on offense to put up 24+ points.

LSU always thinks an assistant coach is the last piece needed to complete the puzzle. Truth about the LSU defense this year, for all the LSU buzz and brag, it is full of holes and question marks. All the schemes in the world will not disguise a lack of true SEC quality LBs, a front three that is barely adequate with no quality backups, no elite pass rush, and a secondary that is basically a newly pasted together commodity.

All that pre-season fan group-think about "nasty front seven is best in the SEC," "LBs are better than Alabama," etc., could not stand even a cursory look at the personnel and facts. Truth is the LSU front seven was blown out last year by any team with a running game, and most of those players are back...and haven't progressed. Even the star LB, White, is a semi-work-in-progress, great athlete, still learning the position.

What Florida showed is that a decent OL can push the LSU front backward at an alarming pace. Just like two years ago, this will require Aranda to try to stem the ground attack by adding a safety up front, which will expose the secondary.

This doesn't mean the LSU D is bad
, but it does mean it isn't elite or in the top 5-6 in the SEC. You just cannot operated a first class defense with three quality players.

Phillips was out at MLB and played a true freshman. LSU D did have an abomination on tackling! lol

LSU will restore order when they play FLA in the SEC championship game!
