Great coach and he did a great job from 2000 to 2003 (sorry, he quit on us in 2004)at LSU. But its always about him. Takes all the credit and never any blame. That garbage gets old,but he wins,so few care. Like now when Alabama plays someone, its always "Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide takes on ---". Its never "Alabama vs"
I'm glad y'all have embraced him and he's done a wonderful job there. He most certainly is the best coach in CFB. But keep him, I for one wouldn't want him back.

How do you really feel about Nick Saban?Do you hate him for the way he left?Do you love him for having a great run at LSU and winning a NC?If he wanted to come back to LSU someday would you accept him?
I love him and want to make sweet love to his cynical little borderline personality disorder self

Saban is an easy guy to hate because he wins and he doesn't have a very "likeable" personality.
When he first left for Miami, I felt no ill-will. I even rooted for Saban's Dolphins in Tiger Stadium against the Saints, solely because Nick Saban was the coach.
I wasn't thrilled when he took the job at Alabama....is it any surprise LSU fans wouldn't be happy about a winner ("our" winner) taking over at a division rival? Fortunately, some of the sting has worn off given that LSU has continued to dominate in the SEC since his departure. had LSU tanked while Bama rose to prominence under Saban, it would have made it all much worse.

Great Coach
Landed at a Good School
Effed the Dolphins
Think he's an a-hole
Did what Dinardo could not do and started the train LSU is on now
Wish he'd retire or get Bama on probation

All my LSU friends, except a small few, respect Nick Saban and wish him well.

Is this stupid shite still on here again tonight, I wanted to post last night and decided to leave it to the trolls. Good grief, He's gone and not needed at LSU.

I'm happy he won a championship at LSU. However, he is still a douchebag that can't take losing like a man and I will not say he's a great, nice guy for the sake of your gump feelings not to be shattered. Bring your obvious poor trolling act and fake sportsmanship to tide fans and please stop starting threads on this topic.

Saw him once at the TAF tour banquet; He couldn't seem more disinterested in meeting the alumni, many of whom give large sums of money to the athletic department. When he spoke before everyone, he told a scripted joke. Attended the banquet where Les spoke. He knew how to handle himself, the humor was natural and "off the cuff". He didn't have an expression like he just shite his pants (Saban usually does). He spent time with the big money supporters, showing he knows the business end of the college game. All around personable guy and great coach.

He returned us to relevance in CFB. He showed our BOS & AD that if they got the hell out of the way we were a 400 pound gorilla with a chainsaw for a penis.
The stories of his churlish, assholish dealings with booster groups, money men, AD Administrators, fans etc are LEGION.
I wouldn't trade him for the world however...you guys know how lucky you are. So do we.
The difference is we have won without him. There has definitely been life after Saban for LSU. Y'all are still enjoying the ride but that question will be interesting in terms of how it's answered one day...
